Introduction to geography education department
The Department of Geographic Education was officially established in 1978 with the approval of its establishment in 1977, and trained professional geographical teachers with research capabilities since the opening of the graduate school's geographic education course in 1979. Currently, 4 professors and 60 undergraduates are studying with the Department of Geographic Education.
The geography education department offers courses in basic academic fields (geography, climatology, economic geography, urban geography, cultural geography, social geography) and education curriculum (geography education), and other courses such as regional research, cartography, GIS, geography research and practice. For effective education, we also have a chance to see and learn the geographical contents of the curriculum through regular academic studies of various subjects twice a year.
