Educational Objective

Our department, Geography Education department, fosters the qualification of Global citizenship through the concrete knowledge about Korean geography and insights about world geography. Also, we develop the exploration ability and understand social-scientific knowledge needed to live a social life. We aim to train competent teachers who take on geography education in secondary school by putting emphasis on developing logical decision-making ability that he or she can realize and solve various social problems from the geographical perspective.
